Phobia's Project

The aim of these images was to evoke a specific fear through the typography used, which is then further enforced by the surrounding and context of the image. The bottom is based on Necrophobia which is the fear of death and what it holds. I created these 2 posters by using a mirror as my main focal point to associate with my quote of 'What's waiting on the other side' as mirrors are often used as a metaphor as a portal into another world or connection with the afterlife. The top image represents Hydrophobia which is a fear of water, therefore to create my typography I used paint and water to form a fluid, out of control font aiming to encapsulate the elements of water in a sinister way.
